Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film usually within the martial arts or horror genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with them. After earning some recognition in the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to review in late 2009. The website was her home up until the end of 2015, at which point Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
